Overview Adjunct Faculty - CIS position at Texas A&M University – Central Texas in the Subhani Department of Computer Information Systems. This is for Spring and/or Summer 2026 adjunct instructor positions. Responsibilities Teach one or more of the following courses: programming, data communications, computer networking, database management, cybersecurity, and related areas in computer information systems or Computer Science as determined by department needs and individual qualifications. Write syllabi for the courses to be taught using the approved format of the College of Business Administration. Meet with students enrolled in their classes to provide additional assistance with material and assignments. Primarily responsible for the teaching/learning process; adjunct instructors are hired to teach on a temporary and part-time basis. Minimum qualifications Master’s degree in information systems or computer science or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Earned Doctorate in Information Systems / Computer Science or a closely related degree. Significant industry experience in the areas listed above or industry-recognized technical certifications. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Demonstrated experience or expertise in teaching at the undergraduate level, with a focus on student engagement and academic success. Proven expertise in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science and a strong commitment to high-quality undergraduate education.
