Thanks for reading our job ad! We are currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician at The Preserve at Woodland Apartments in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Your day-to-day: Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems Complete general apartment and property maintenance tasks Respond to work orders and resident service requests Support apartment turnovers and unit inspections Participate in an on-call rotation 1 week every 3 weeks Snow removal when needed What We're Looking For: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience Solid troubleshooting skills and a strong work ethic Team player with great communication and a friendly vibe Someone who takes pride in doing things right the first time Compensation & Benefits: - $19.00 to $20.00/Hour DOE - Annual salary increases up to 5% - Quarterly bonus incentives reaching up to $3,000 annually - On-call bonus of $100 weekly plus minimum hourly guarantees for call-outs - Holiday coverage bonuses - Retirement planning via a robust 401k package inclusive of a 3% match - Blue Cross Medical Insurance at only $45 monthly (individual coverage) - Complimentary Life and Dental Insurance packages - Optional Vision and Disability Insurance available - Enjoyment of nine paid holidays annually - Generous Paid Time Off! 1st Year = 80 Hours, 2-4 Years = 120 Hours, 5 Years = 160 Hours - 20% rental discount at any owned community - Yearly tool reimbursement program up to $500 - Annual allowances towards work boots and pants Do you know about Monarch's long term retention benefits!?
