Job Description

As a Security Professional- Armed Front Desk in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points, greeting visitors, and assisting with access control to help to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, requiring you to maintain a professional presence while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will represent our company's values of agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and working collaboratively with integrity to support a secure environment for all staff and visitors.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors and employees at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence and following security-related procedures specific to the location.
• Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and managing visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Communicate with staff and management regarding any security-related concerns or unusual activity observed at the front desk area.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Texas Armed Security Professional License.
• Must have an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must have an Armed Designation for the role.
• Must be able to carry an armed sidearm as required by the position.
• Texas Security Professional Registration is preferred for Allied Universal Security roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
