Job Description

We are looking for a Certified Nutrition or Health Coach with at least 12 months of hands-on experience working with clients in a wellness or medical setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about functional health, behavior change, and sustainable weight loss. You will support clients through personalized coaching, accountability, and lifestyle education related to gut health, metabolic wellness, hormone balance, and weight management.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct one-on-one virtual and in-person coaching sessions for clients enrolled in functional wellness and weight management programsCreate customized nutrition and lifestyle strategies based on client goals, lab results, and provider recommendationsTrack client progress, provide accountability, and make adjustments to wellness plans as neededCollaborate with the medical and functional team to ensure alignment of care plansEducate clients on topics such as inflammation, blood sugar regulation, gut health, and anti-inflammatory nutritionUse client portals to document sessions, upload resources, and monitor adherenceAssist with content creation for wellness handouts, workshops, and group programsParticipate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing program developmentRequirementsActive certification as a Health Coach or Nutrition Coach (NBC-HWC, Precision Nutrition, IIN, NTP, etc.)Minimum 12 months of experience coaching clients on nutrition, weight loss, or wellness behavior changeStrong understanding of functional medicine principles (GI health, insulin resistance, thyroid, inflammation)Excellent communication, listening, and motivational interviewing skillsComfortable working with EMRs, client tracking apps, and virtual platformsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative clinical teamPassionate about holistic health and evidence-based nutritionPreferred QualificationsExperience working in a medical or integrative clinic settingFamiliarity with functional lab interpretation (GI-MAP, DUTCH, blood chemistry)Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plusExperience with body composition tracking tools (e.g., InBody)
