Job Description

LHH is proactively recruiting for a Construction Estimator. This position is located near Allentown, NJ. It is 100% onsite and Direct Hire. The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000-$95,000.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and construction team members to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for various stages of the project, including conceptual, schematic, and final estimates.
• Monitor and track project costs to ensure adherence to budget.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor bids for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals and requirements.
• Maintain and update a database of historical costs and project data.
• Prepare and present reports on cost estimates and project budgets to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, etc.).
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
