Job Description

Our client, a dynamic player in the food service industry, is seeking a Experienced Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the kitchen staff supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook (Seasonal)

Location: Bellaire, MI

Pay Range: Up to $25 per hour

What's the Job?

• Check work station at the start of the shift to ensure all necessary items are stocked.
• Prepare food items based on incoming order tickets, including grilling burgers and fish, frying items, microwaving, and using a panini grill.
• Ensure that hot held food items are maintained at proper temperatures in food warmers.
• Clean and sanitize the work station at designated times using proper cleaning chemicals, ensuring compliance with health department standards.
• Assist with shared dishwashing duties, utilizing a three-sink method and a commercial dishwasher.

What's Needed?

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.
• Experience with cooking equipment such as grills, fryers, and microwaves is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old for certain kitchen equipment use.
• Prior Cook experience in a fast paced environment required
