Position Summary: We are hiring a full time Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) to join our interdisciplinary team at Vida Guidance Center in the Bronx, NY. Vida is an Article-31 Mental Health Center serving families in the community. As an LCAT Therapist at Vida, you will conduct individual and group psychotherapy with adults and/or children and families. Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Creative Arts Therapy required. NYS Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) Bilingual English and Spanish preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based modalities. 2+ years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required. Key Duties: Completes documentation in accordance with OMH regulations. Monitors treatment plans for patients. Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments. Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services to children within public schools. Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes. Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients. Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources. Provides consultation to medical providers. Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs. Participates in clinical team meetings. Starting Compensation: Minimum $72,000 per year; Maximum $80,000 per year Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule: Onsite, Bronx, NY, Shifts fall between Mondays and Saturdays (5 shifts per week).
