ABOUT THE PROGRAMS

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS:

Certificate Program 2-Years // Ages 17+ Peridance's Certificate Program is a two year post-secondary training program. Two tracks of study are available: Commercial and Ballet/Contemporary. Students will take 3-5 classes daily including theory classes and dance technique classes. The program includes performance opportunities and mentorship. International students study on an F-1 Visa with the chance to receive OPT following successful completion of the program. MOPTOP Universal Professional Program 3-Months or 6-Months // Ages 18+ The 3-month / 6-month MOPTOP Universal Professional Program at Peridance Center provides students with a condensed and comprehensive learning experience within a guided and regimented street dance curriculum. The program is open for dancers of all levels ages 18+. Students learn with some of the leaders of the street and club dance scene in New York and culminates in a performance at Peridance Center's KnJ Theater. Peridance Collective 9-Months // Ages 17-23 Peridance Collective is a performance-based program for dancers between the ages of 17 and 23, which is designed to reflect the experience of being in a professional company. The program is structured to cultivate artistry through technical training, collaborative rehearsal process, and performance. Independent Study Program 3-Month, 6-Month, 12-Month // Ages 17+ The Peridance Independent Study Program is a self-guided course of study designed and developed for both domestic and international students at different stages of their artistic and technical development. Students are admitted to the program at all levels of proficiency (Beginner through Advanced) and can begin studies on the first day of each month throughout the year. The Independent Study Program offers 18 hours of study a week, consisting of Open Classes and Program Specific Workshops. General Workshops can also be attended depending on availability and cost differences.

SUMMER PROGRAMS:

PCDC Summer Intensive August 14-24, 2025 // Ages 17+ The PCDC Summer Intensive is 10 days of immersive training, creative process, and repertory performance. Participants will study with Artistic Director Igal Perry and renowned guest faculty members from PCDC repertoire in Ballet, Contemporary, and Repertory classes, among others. With a culminating performance at Peridance's KnJ Theater, the PCDC Intensive will enrich your artistic voice in an international community of dancers. Teen Summer Intensive June 30-July 12, 2025 // Ages 12-17 Peridance's Teen Summer Intensive is a 2-week comprehensive training program designed for dancers ages 12-17 to develop, increase, and strengthen their level of technique, self-confidence, and artistry. An experienced and knowledgeable faculty strongly emphasizes clean technique and self-discipline within a nurturing and supportive environment. This program emphasizes contemporary forms and is tailored to push dancers both technically and artistically. Students will study a variety of genres from renowned faculty and work with two fresh and upcoming choreographers in New York City. At the end of the two weeks, participants will demonstrate their work in a fully produced performance presented at Peridance's KnJ Theater. _____ Auditions take place January - April, 2025 Video auditions are accepted as well.
