About the Role:
Looking for a passionate dance professional who believes in the transformative power of movement. Do you dream of building something extraordinary from the ground up? Black Diamond Kids Center is seeking a visionary Dance Director to revive a revolutionize our dance program - and we want you to lead this exciting journey!

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and guidance to students during classes
• Ensure safety and proper technique during all dance activities
• Monitor and track the progress of each gymnast
• Communicate with parents about students progress
• Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum

Requirements:

• Significant training and experience in multiple dance styles (ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, etc.)
• Ability to create age-appropriate curriculum and progressive skill-building programs
• Knowledge of proper dance technique, injury prevention and child safety protocols
• Proven experience working with children and youth in dance instruction
• Experience or strong desire to lead, mentor and inspiration a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
• High Energy with a desire to positively impact kids and families
• Morning, afternoon and weekend availability required
