Duties:

- Assist with food preparation and meal planning, ensuring that all meals meet dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages to patients and staff.
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Assist with patient meal requests and special dietary needs.
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure that meals meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude towards patients and staff.
- Manage time effectively to ensure that meals are served promptly and efficiently.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and foodborne illness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in dietetics and nutrition, applying this knowledge to inform food preparation and meal planning.

Experience:

- Previous experience in food preparation or a related field is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dietary principles and practices is essential.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations is necessary.
- Proven time management and organizational skills are essential for this role.
