We are seeking an aspiring Early Childhood Educator to join our organization and take advantage of our TEACH Scholarship to obtain their College Degree! This individual will independently plan and present age-appropriate activities for 8-10 children ages 16 months up to age 12.

Must be an Insect exploring, puddle jumping, snowball making, seed planting, soil digging, idea inspiring, energetic, and resilient person that loves to dance, draw, sing. cook, and chat about unicorns, rainbows!

A Leader that understands the assignment of an early learning facilitator that will not melt in a little rain or fear harmless insects. Someone that doesn't mind having their ear bent by a toddler with a lot to say, with limited enunciation. A communicator that relates to a Parent/Guardian's heart, and their need to know that their child is safe, happy, clean, and learning. A team member that can ebb and flow with the ever-evolving needs of the day.

A person with basic food prep, cleaning, and cooking knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Follow the Directors pre-set schedule and routine to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students as dictated by the State of Indiana

Qualifications:

• Minimum age 18 with a High School Diploma
• Previous experience in babysitting, childcare, teaching, or other related fields preferred
• Passionate about working with children, as if it is a calling
• Ability to build a genuine rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to attend training, and College Courses to become a Professional with an Early Childhood Education Degree under the TEACH Scholarship
