About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Transaction Banking Financial Institution Sales, with a focus on the PayTech client segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving origination, developing strong client relationships, and being recognized as an expert in the financial institution space. This role involves executing and managing the sales strategy for a portfolio of financial institutions, maintaining ongoing contact with clients, and ensuring the targeted level of return on trade finance. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, have a university degree, and possess a minimum of 10 years' of relevant transaction banking sales experience, particularly in the international or regional environment. Expertise in the payment environment, including infrastructure and emerging trends, is essential, with a specific emphasis on cross-border payments. Key responsibilities for this position include managing the transaction banking relationship across all products for the designated client portfolio, undertaking RFP and deal processes, and providing feedback to product management on customer needs and market intelligence. The role also requires strong communication, influencing, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-border team environment with multi-cultural stakeholders. The candidate should be adept at sales proposal and presentation, client relationship management, cross-selling, and strategic sales planning, with a good understanding of cash and trade.
