Program Manager
Certification: PMP
Remote opportunity with easy access to Washington, DC

Nationwide IT Services is seeking a Program Manager (PM) for a potential opportunity providing program management support on our government customer systems task order.
In this position, the PM provides normal project management functions including technical leadership, quality assurance, and decision-oriented recommendations. The PM is also responsible for ensuring all tasks identified in the Statement of Work are completed efficiently, accurately, on time, and in compliance with the requirements.

Program Management tasks include:

• Preparing and maintaining a Project Management Plan
• Monthly Status Reports
• Quality Control Plan, Monthly Financial Reports
• Monthly Program Reviews with the Government Program Office
• Project schedule that aligns with the Program Management Plan
• Contract Transition In/Transition Out Activities
• The task order kick-off meeting is to review SOW requirements and understand the work scope and deliverables.
• The PM may be requested to participate as a member of a government-led team.
• PM will serve as liaison for the team with NIS HQ by performing such duties as approving timecards, reviewing task order invoices, and personnel management activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience with the software development life cycle.
• Education: College degree must be from an accredited United States institution.

Required Certification:

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Portfolio Management Professional (pfMp), Program Management Professional (pgMp) or equivalent project or program management certification.

Desired Certifications:

• ITILv4

Required Technical/Business Tools Experience:

• Jira
• Subversion
• Confluence
• SharePoint

Preferred Technical/Business Tools Experience:

• FAA Regional Information System (REGIS)
• FAA Staffing and Payroll (SAPS)
• FAA Knowledge Services Network (KSN)
