Bake'n Bacon is a mobile food and catering service offering specialty cuisines. We developed the motto of “The 3 C’s Customer service, consistency and our craft. This blueprint keeps us focused on what is important to us as a business and how we want our customers to know that we take pride in what we do and what we serve to them.

We are a growing Food Truck business serving the Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey regions.

Bake'n Bacon is a one-of-a-kind food truck serving gourmet sandwiches where bacon is the spotlight. We have a unique approach to food that people love and we love to share our "bacongoodness" with our patrons.
Our goal is to provide an exclusive experience that will bring an unexpected twist on what we serve. We participate in food truck festivals, serve at different breweries, schools, farmers markets and campgrounds as far south as Cape May, NJ all the way to suburbs of Philadelphia and surrounding Pennsylvania counties.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Food Service Worker to become a part of the Bake'n Bacon team. who would be responsible for serving customer's food on our fast paced food truck. A successful candidate will be able to create a positive customer experience while providing excellent food service and be able to work productively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve food to customers.
• Knowledge of the location of food items in the kitchen.
• Complete understanding of the menu to ensure excellent service
• Take guest orders, including all special instruction

• Apply basic mathematical operations.
• Have good customer service skills.
• Standing and or walking- 100% of the time
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage

• Prior kitchen/catering experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach while on truck
• Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure
• Occasionally lifting up to 20 - 50 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule varies and includes working weekends
• Fast-paced, with high turn-around time for serving food
• Prepare all items to order
• Ability to work in small kitchen space
• Work to support the team during peak and off peak service, by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary.

Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and with professionalism and respect.
• Maintains a professional relationship with all
• Ability to listen carefully to customers’ order. Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly to employees.

Reliable Transportation (Required)

Experience in the food service industry (Preferred)

Box Truck/Delivery Truck Driving Experience is a PLUS

Pay: $13 - $18.00 per hour, depending on resume
