This position is a paid internship for a college student currently working towards a forestry or geospatial science degree.
Green Bay Packaging is a privately owned, vertically integrated forest products company that has been in operation since 1933. Arkansas operations include the ownership and management of over 255,000 acres of company timberland with an additional 257,000 acres of private timberland under our direct management in our Landowner Resource Program. Our Arkansas Kraft Division papermill produces linerboard and medium paper used to manufacture corrugated packaging at our facilities around the country. Applicants must be forestry or geospatial science students in good academic standing who have completed their junior year. Fiber Resource Division is looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities will include working with our divisional services department. Tasks will include timber cruising, working with ArcGIS Pro & ArcGIS Online, digitizing drone data, and completing a directed summer project and giving a presentation. In addition, there will be opportunities to work with our land management and procurement teams.
