I.\tFUNCTION:
This position is responsible for supporting the human resources & education functions of the Bureau to ensure smooth operations. Areas of support include records retention and compliance, operations, employee benefits, employee relations, and special projects / other duties as assigned. In addition, this position supports the educational programming offered for members through the Hospitality Academy by sending out email correspondences, helping with class setup and breakdown, and supporting the development of the program to suit the needs of the Bureau’s members.
II.\tSTATUS: Full-time, regular; Exempt

9. Knowledge of Windows, Drive, databases, etc.

V.\tESSENTIAL & NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (In compliance with the ADA.)
Essential:
1.\tExcellent command of the English language, including comprehension, verbal and written communication skills.
2.\tGood interpersonal skills.
3.\tAbility to operate office equipment and learn software programs such as Windows, Google Drive, Databases.
4.\tAbility to perform mathematical calculations accurately.
5.\tAccess to transportation to attend meetings/functions throughout the tri-county region and the state, including overnight lodging, and to pick-up or deliver supplies related to the job before, during and after regular working hours.
6.\tAbility to grip/grasp various tools and equipment used in the office area.
7.\tAbility to set up for a meeting, including supply preparation, carrying items to meeting rooms, arranging furniture, placing agendas and other information around table.
8.\tGood eyesight and hearing which may be corrected with an aid if necessary.
9.\tAbility to rotate body while in a sitting or standing position.
10. Ability to climb stairs to reach office on the second floor.
\t\tNon-essential:
1.\tAbility to stretch and reach in various directions while in a kneeling, standing, sitting or crouching position.
2.\tAble to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
