About the Role

• This is a new remote position. Preferred location near transportation hub in eastern half of the USA.
• Focus on developing revenue growth using a “hunter” mentality.
• Conversion of target customers, prospects, and key markets into opportunities and new business.
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and current major customers.
• Travel ~35% to 45% for personal customer interaction.

Key Activities

• Communication with customers promoting C&J capabilities.
• Set up and manage customer meetings and presentations. Attend tradeshows to generate leads and increase market knowledge.
• Track opportunity pipeline using HubSpot CRM.
• Provide customer, opportunity, competitor, and market information to C&J.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to develop and qualify prospective opportunities using a pipeline approach.
• Drive the process to generate RFQ’s. Work with C&J and customers to win new business.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key customers.
• Strong communication and computer skills including CRM Tools, Presentations, Excel, etc.
• Effective multi-tasking and time management abilities to implement travel plans that maximize time spent with customers while maintaining other responsibilities.

Experience and Education

• Sales experience in the injection molded plastics contract manufacturing industry is required.
• A degree in engineering or business is preferred.
• A strong network of customer relationships in medical, pharmaceutical, and other higher performance markets is highly valued.

Located in Meadville, PA, C&J Industries is a custom plastic injection molding company serving a diverse range of industries. In-house services include tooling design and production, extensive assembly options and full-service engineering support. C&J is ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 certified, FDA registered and offers both General and Clean room thermoplastic molding in addition to high-speed assembly. Based on our recent 25,000 sqft expansion, C&J is poised for extensive growth including the addition of about 20 new injection molding machines.
