Job Description INVENTORY ADMINISTRATOR Ready to Put Your Skills to Work Where It Counts? Automation Personnel Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Inventory Administrator to support the team by managing spare parts and maintenance-related inventory. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the maintenance team has the right parts available and is primarily computer-based, with occasional hands-on responsibilities such as verifying parts and conducting cycle counts in the storeroom or maintenance areas.
Pay Rate $18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Inventory Administrator Duties and Responsibilities - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance spare parts and supplies in the inventory system.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively coordinate replenishment of critical parts and consumables.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in full physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance technicians and supervisors to forecast part needs.
- Generate reports, analyze usage trends, and identify opportunities to optimize inventory levels.
- Work with purchasing and vendors to source parts efficiently and manage lead times.
- Maintain proper labeling, organization, and housekeeping standards in the parts storage area.
- Support administrative tasks within the maintenance department, including work order tracking and documentation.
Inventory Administrator Qualifications and Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Experience working with inventory or parts management, preferably in a maintenance or shop environment.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and good time management.
- Able to multi-task and handle a fast-paced workday.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willing to spend time both at a desk and out in the shop or parts room.
