The Seawane Club, a premier private club on Long Island, is seeking a talented and reliable Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional, high-volume kitchen with a collaborative team and a strong commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute dishes according to standardized recipes and plating guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized station before, during, and after service.
• Assist with prep work, daily mise en place, and banquet service as needed.
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed at all times.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and consistent food quality.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen (club, hotel, or fine dining preferred).
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in season.

The Seawane Club operates March through December, with à la carte dining, private events, and seasonal programming. We're looking for cooks who take pride in their craft and are eager to grow within a dynamic kitchen.

• Competitive Hourly Wage ($17.50- $25.00) based on experience
