💰 Pay Range: $104,312 – $167,772.80 per year

We are currently seeking a compassionate and driven Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP, APRN) to join a leading pediatric and adolescent medicine team in Hartford, CT . This is a full-time, permanent opportunity designed for providers who are passionate about delivering high-quality, comprehensive care to children and adolescents in a collaborative clinical environment.

 

✅ Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and nurse practitioner program with a pediatric specialty
• Valid Connecticut APRN license (or ability to obtain)
• Eligible for DEA and Connecticut controlled substance registration
• Strong understanding of pediatric nursing theory and clinical practice
• New graduates welcome; 1–2 years of pediatric experience preferred
• Ability to deliver culturally competent care in a diverse setting
• Proficient in electronic health records and clinical documentation
• Skilled in medical history taking, physical assessment, and clinical interpretation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

🎯 Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver primary care services to pediatric and adolescent patients under collaborative physician guidance
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnostics, and therapeutic interventions
• Prescribe treatments, therapies, and medications in accordance with best practices
• Educate patients and families on wellness, disease management, and preventive care
• Refer patients to specialists as necessary for diagnosis or treatment
• Document all clinical findings thoroughly and in a timely manner
• Participate in peer review, quality improvement, and departmental meetings
• Coordinate with healthcare team members, departments, and external providers to ensure continuity of care
• Support patient-centered care initiatives and meet department performance metrics

• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Willingness to maintain compliance with all health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination requirements
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a clinical setting
