This long-term need offers a stable rural setting, strong specialty support, and flexible scheduling in a high-functioning emergency department. We are actively seeking board-certified Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine physicians with recent emergency department experience to join our locum pool for 12-hour shifts. Opportunity Details: Location: Bellefontaine, OH Contract Type: Locum Tenens Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing Duration: Long-Term Assignment (6+ months) Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM & 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Advanced Practice Provider Support: APP on-site from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Emergency Department Details: Annual ED Volume: 20,000 visits ED Bed Count: 17 Average PPH: 1.8 Admission Rate: 9% Transfer Rate: 7% Average Codes: 2–3 per week EMR: Meditech (Web-Based) with M*Modal Voice Transcription Support & Specialty Services: Hospitalists: 2 Full-Time MDs + 24/7 NP Coverage (Admit nearly all inpatient cases) Specialty Support: Ob/Gyn Cardiology with 24/7 Level 2 Cath Lab ENT (3 Providers) Orthopedics (including Hand Surgery) Urology, Peds, and Internal Medicine Telemedicine Access: Neurology Infectious Disease Critical Care Pulmonary Unavailable Specialties: Renal & GI Provider Requirements: Board Certification: ABEM or ABFM with active EM experience Licensure: Active Ohio Medical License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ATLS (preferred) Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience Why Join Rhino Medical?
