Base pay range $65.00/hr - $70.90/hr Primary Talent Partners has a new medical writer - life sciences opportunity available with our large biopharmaceutical client. This is a full-time W2 contract position with an initial duration of 12 months with potential for extension and/or conversion. Pay: $65/hr - $70/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Schedule: M - F, Normal Business Hours Description We are seeking a contractor for the Global Scientific and Value Content (GSVC) team. This role involves developing scientific resources such as slide decks, Medical Information Letters (MILs), Verbal Response Documents (VRDs), and Infographics for use by the Field Medical Organization and Global Medical Information Staff. The role supports transformational initiatives within the Value & Implementation Global Medical and Value Capabilities (V& I GMVC) environment. Responsibilities Develop and maintain GSVC resources aligned with annual plans for GMSA Field Medical and Global Medical Information staff, with guidance from senior colleagues. Review GSVC materials for relevance, scientific accuracy, and consistency with cited literature, internal scientific data, and company standards. Analyze and evaluate scientific and therapeutic data presentation for internal stakeholder use, ensuring quality and compliance. Support innovative communication methods for GSC, including digital media and infographics, based on customer needs. Advocate for evolving customer needs within GSVC, especially for GMSA Field Medical and GMI staff. Lead specific tasks, prioritize deliverables, and produce high-quality work independently. Collaborate with peers and stakeholders, offering new perspectives and innovations for scientific content communication. Evaluate new technologies to support GSVC organizational needs effectively. Required Experience Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or PhD in life sciences. 1-2 years of relevant experience in process and systems coordination. Experience in Medical Affairs/Medical Information and medical writing. Experience working with cross-geographical and cross-functional stakeholders. Ability to design and produce stakeholder-friendly slide decks independently. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently. Proven success in fast-paced environments, with high judgment and initiative. Innovative thinking and strong business acumen. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills. Leadership qualities and ability to influence without authority. Interpersonal, networking skills, curiosity, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with global stakeholders. Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience at affiliate, regional, or global levels. Oncology therapeutic area experience. Experience creating external scientific tools and responding to medical inquiries. Familiarity with MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, and Veeva Vault MedComms (preferred).
