LocumJobsOnline is working with AAS Locum Tenens to find a qualified Pediatrics MD in Towson, Maryland, 21252!About The PositionWe are seeking a Locums Board-Certified Pediatric Hospitalist for a locums opportunity in Towson, Maryland. This role involves comprehensive inpatient pediatric care, ED consults, and well-baby nursery coverage with 12-hour shifts available 7 days a week. There are no on-call requirements, and the hospital features a 20-bed Level III NICU with 24/7 neonatology coverage.Position Highlights:Shift Schedule:12-hour shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 8:00 PM – 8:00 AMCoverage available 7 days a weekNo on-call responsibilities Responsibilities:Provide inpatient care in the pediatric unit and after-hours pediatric ED bedsCover and round on pediatric inpatientsManage the well-baby nurseryServe as backup for deliveries when neededPerform ED consultationsCollaborate with the Level III NICU team as appropriate (NICU is separately staffed 24/7) Facility Overview:5-bed pediatric inpatient unit5-bed pediatric after-hours unit located within the pediatric department20-bed Level III NICU with 24/7 neonatology coverageFully supported by pediatric nursing and ancillary services Requirements:Board Certified in PediatricsActive Maryland Medical License (required)DEA RegistrationMaryland Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)PALS Certification (AHA)Located just outside Baltimore, Towson offers a vibrant suburban feel with easy access to urban amenities.
