What You'll Do: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and examinations for women across all stages of life, addressing a variety of gynecological concerns and prenatal care needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for both inpatients and outpatients, including potential management of high-risk pregnancies and collaborative care with other specialists as needed. Perform a variety of in-office procedures, potentially including biopsies, IUD insertions, and other gynecological interventions. Deliver babies in a supportive and collaborative environment, providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery. Manage post-partum care for mothers and newborns, ensuring a smooth transition and addressing any concerns. Provide ongoing patient education and counseling regarding women's health topics, treatment options, recovery plans, and follow-up care. Manage patient care tasks and communication with the healthcare team to maintain efficient clinic operations and inpatient coordination. Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and procedures thoroughly and efficiently within the Athena and Meditech electronic medical records systems. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities (time permitting). Who You Are: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a current and active license to practice medicine in Arkansas (only). Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) (required). Current BLS certification (required).
