This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Dane Street, LLC. We are currently looking for a Physician Reviewer - Cardiologist Surgery (Utilization Review) in Colorado (USA).

This is a remote, contract-based opportunity for board-certified cardiologists seeking flexible, non-clinical work alongside an active practice. In this role, youll apply your medical expertise to conduct independent medical reviews and determine treatment necessity with no direct patient care involved. Accountabilities:

Conduct utilization reviews and render determinations on the medical necessity of treatments.

Review appealed cases and provide objective, evidence-based recommendations.

Operate through a secure, intuitive online platform with all records and guidelines provided.

Complete reviews within established turnaround times (typically 15 business days).

Maintain high standards of accuracy, ethics, and clinical judgment in all evaluations.

Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of Colorado.

Board Certification in Cardiology.

Active clinical practice status.

Excellent written communication skills and the ability to articulate medical rationale clearly.

Comfort with remote, technology-driven work and non-clinical environments.

Independent contractor position (1099) with per-case compensation.

Completely remote and telework-based.
