Our client, a leading manufacturer in the plywood industry, is seeking a Plywood Production Manager to join their team. As a Plywood Production Manager, you will be part of the production department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and a focus on continuous improvement which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Plywood Production Manager (DIRECT HIRE)
Location: Rutland, VT
Pay Range: $70,668 - $85,228 per year
Shift: First Shift - 7am-4pm with flexibility

What's the Job?

• Plan production and scheduling among a team of employees.
• Manage and oversee the ERP system for the division.
• Coordinate schedules in a high mix environment to improve workflow.
• Provide guidance and leadership by communicating expectations and fostering team development.
• Participate in projects aimed at cost savings and process improvements.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in business management/finance or engineering preferred.
• Five plus years of management experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Highly organized with strong interpersonal skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
