Are you a recruitment professional seeking an exciting new opportunity? Are you passionate about fast-paced, high-volume hiring? We are looking for a Recruiter to join our Texas Corporate Office to own full cycle recruitment for all hourly operations roles in the area. If you bring excellent attention to detail, a continuous improvement mindset, and agility to navigate changing business needs and market trends, we want to hear from you!

You will own high-volume recruitment for CDL drivers and hourly operations roles across Texas, partnering directly with leaders to source top talent, build pipelines, and drive hires from intake to onboarding. Leveraging data, social strategies, and a continuous improvement mindset, you will help position us as an employer of choice for Texas operations talent.

What you will be doing

  • Partner with operations hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire CDL drivers and other hourly operations talent for Texas vacancies
  • Coordinate background checks and related pre-employment processes in line with company standards
  • Lead hiring managers through full recruitment lifecycle, from intake meetings through offer and background checks
  • Work collaboratively to create compelling, on-brand recruitment content for social and digital channels
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and future hourly and operations hiring needs
  • Draft and refine job postings to clearly reflect role requirements and attract top talent
  • Balance strong candidate advocacy with a business-focused mindset to support high-quality, timely hiring decisions
  • Use recruitment data and metrics to report on outcomes and recommend improvements
  • Implement and execute a purpose-driven hiring strategy aligned with our values, safety culture, and operational priorities
  • Apply and continuously improve best practices, maintaining a continuous improvement mindset
  • Stay current on industry, labor market, and technology trends in Texas to expand networks and improve sourcing strategies
  • Maintain accurate and organized recruitment documentation and records, including job descriptions, interview notes, and reference / background information
  • Travel within Texas as needed to meet with hiring managers, attend hiring events, and strengthen relationships at plant and site locations
  • Complete project work as required

What we would like from you

  • Three or more years of experience managing high volume full-cycle recruitment processes, ideally for operations and hourly roles
  • Solid understanding of U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Texas transportation regulations
  • Highly organized, detail-driven, and capable of balancing day-to-day recruiting tasks with strategic planning
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and leaders and influence hiring decisions
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Creative and proactive approach to sourcing, attracting, and engaging candidates
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to streamline, optimize and improve recruiting processes
  • Agile and adaptable, able to pivot quickly as hiring needs, priorities and market conditions change
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems such as UKG
  • Experience leveraging social media platforms and recruiting tools to attract top talent
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field preferred – equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish would be considered an asset, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce

Location and other key details:

  • This is a full-time permanent position based out of our Texas Corporate office in Irving
  • The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with occasional additional hours as required
