Now Hiring: Host/Hostess for New Greek Restaurant in Venice!
We are a brand-new Greek restaurant launching in Los Angeles, and we're searching for a warm, professional, and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an opening team from the ground up and help us create a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
Our restaurant offers vibrant, traditional Greek cuisine with a modern California touch, paired with genuine hospitality and a lively atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, creating an inviting first impression
Manage reservations and walk-ins, ensuring smooth seating flow
Maintain the waitlist and communicate accurate wait times
Escort guests to their tables and assist with seating arrangements
Collaborate with servers and management to maximize guest satisfaction
Answer phones, assist with inquiries, and manage reservation systems
Support front-of-house operations with organization and a positive attitude
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a host/hostess or in customer service strongly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, polished, and friendly demeanor
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
