About Us:
At NEWTONS , we’re a small food brand with big energy — bringing handcrafted pantry foods, good vibes, and strong community connections to local farmers markets and pop-up events. We’re on the hunt for outgoing, reliable, and hardworking Seasonal Sales Associates to join our weekend team during the busy holiday season.
Position Overview:
This is an outdoor , weekend-based role at local farmers markets and events. You’ll be the face of our brand — setting up the booth, connecting with customers, and driving sales. It’s physical, fast-paced, and super fun for the right person.
✅ What You'll Be Doing:
Set up and break down our entire sales booth independently — includes tent, tables, signage, and product display
Sell and sample our products to customers — confidently and authentically
Load and unload market gear (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs )
Handle customer transactions and represent NEWTONS with great energy and professionalism
Work Saturdays & Sundays (shifts begin early in the morning )
Typical shifts are 6 hours , but can go up to 8 hours depending on the market
Compensation:
Base pay during training period (first 4 market dates)
Base pay + commission starting on your 5th market date
Great pay for weekend work - $20ph based on experience
Flexible scheduling and a fun, community-focused environment
Schedule & Commitment:
Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
Must be available for 4 consecutive Saturdays to complete the paid training period
Seasonal contract runs through the holiday season (approximately through late December / early January)
What We're Looking For:
Self-starter who can confidently run a booth solo
Comfortable with early mornings and outdoor work
Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
Reliable transportation to various market locations
Great communicator who enjoys engaging with people and selling a product you believe in
