As a Senior CNC Programmer , you’ll help bridge the gap between high-volume metal additive manufacturing and precision CNC machining , producing parts for some of the most iconic names in aerospace, defense, automation, and industrial technology.

About the Role\n

You’ll program and operate state-of-the-art 5-axis DMG Mori CNC mills , leading process improvement projects and driving throughput in a fully modernized, data-driven environment. This is a hands-on role that blends technical mastery, creativity, and innovation — perfect for a machinist who wants to shape the future of manufacturing.

What You’ll Do\n

• Program, set up, and operate 5-axis DMG CNC mills to post-machine complex 3D-printed metal parts
\n
• Optimize toolpaths and machining parameters for efficiency and precision
\n
• Partner with engineers to continuously refine programs and fixtures for high-throughput manufacturing
\n
• Execute machining operations directly from blueprints and 3D models under tight tolerances
\n
• Deburr, clean, and verify part quality using precision measurement tools
\n
• Perform preventative maintenance and manage machine fluids and consumables
\n
• Contribute to automation initiatives that merge CNC machining with advanced additive manufacturing
\n

What You Bring\n

\n
• 5+ years of 5-axis CNC mill programming experience
\n
• Proficiency with DMG Mori 5-axis machines and related tooling
\n
• Experience machining aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, or Inconel
\n
• Strong understanding of machining strategies, speeds/feeds, and tooling optimization
\n
• Passion for process improvement and high-precision work
\n

Nice to Have:

\n
• Mastercam programming experience (highly preferred)
\n
• Siemens control familiarity
\n
• Experience machining metal 3D-printed parts
\n
• NTMA certification or equivalent formal training
\n
• Proficiency with metrology tools and inspection processes
\n
• Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and shop equipment
\n
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
\n

Compensation\n

$45–$65/hour , depending on experience, skills, and technical depth.
Exceptional candidates with deep DMG Mori, Mastercam, or automation expertise may be considered at the upper end of the range.
