Position Overview

We're seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex IT system implementations and upgrades. Reporting to the Assistant IT Director (PMO & Applications), you'll guide IT resources to deliver strategic business solutions, overseeing planning, budgeting, scheduling, and client satisfaction. This role also involves mentoring junior IT Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex IT projects from scope definition to successful completion, strictly adhering to and enforcing approved project management methodologies.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, owning financial tracking and ensuring timely execution.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, providing clear updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Resolve difficult technical and non-technical problems and conflicts proactively.
• Implement change management best practices to ensure project success and user adoption.
• Lead and mentor IT Project Manager I and II staff, fostering their development in technical and business skills.
• Champion continuous impr ovement efforts within the PMO and IT department, driving operational excellence.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years in IT project management, with experience assessing end-user requirements for IT equipment and applications.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Previous experience as a Nurse, Medical Assistant, Med Tech, or other medical professionals highly preferred
• Expert knowledge of IT Project Management Waterfall principles and methodologies

Preferred:

• Professional Project Management (PMP) Certification.

Special Requirements

• May require work outside of normal hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Subject to pre-employment drug testing and extensive background check
