\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• 36 guaranteed hours per week
\n• Patient ratios of 1:4-6
\n• Every other weekend required
\n• 2 years of experience required
\n• Travel experience required
\n• First-time travelers not accepted
\n• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility
\n• Required certifications: BLS
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• Skills required: Med/Surg, Telemetry remote monitoring, Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, Insulin, PCA
\n• Float within service line as needed
\n• No on-call requirements
\n• Scrub color: Navy
\n• Care for patients with ostomy, colon resection, colon cancer, bladder cancer, GU conditions, and medical overflow
\n• Administer various drips including Heparin, Lidocaine, Bicarb, and Amiodarone
\n• Manage PCAs, Epidurals, and CBIs with different irrigation solutions
\n• Special procedures include Foleys, CBI continuous bladder irrigation, TURPS, and protocols for colorectal patients
\n• Must pass Relias EKG exam
\n• RTO limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract

\nThis major academic medical center is a short-term acute care facility featuring 1,266 staffed beds and recognition as both a Magnet and Teaching Hospital with Level I Trauma Center designation. The facility operates a high-turnover surgical patient unit with 38 beds and a daily census of 32 patients. The organization provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
