We have an opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Whiteland, IN

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
\n \n
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.66 per Mile with 1800 - 2300 Miles per Week
\n \n
• Solo Stops Pay: $27.56 per Stop with 5 - 7 Stops per Week
\n \n
• Drop and Hook Pay: $16.54 per Drop/Hook
\n \n
• Safety Bonus: Pays You up to $300 Every Quarter
\n \n
• Paid Training
\n \n
• Schedule: Mainly Monday – Friday
\n \n
• Start Time: Varies
\n \n\n

Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

• Deliver SOLO To: OH, MI, WI, IL, IA, TN, MN, MO, VA, GA and KY

• Route: Regional Home Daily

• Tractor Type: Day Cab

• Freight: Primarily No Touch – Commercial Foam Insulation

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
\n \n
• Pass a DOT physical
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder road test
\n \n
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
\n \n
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
\n \n
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
\n \n
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
\n \n
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
\n \n
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
\n \n
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
\n \n\n

Responsibilities

\n \n\n

\n
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
\n \n
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
\n \n
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
\n \n
• Performs other duties as assigned
\n \n\n
