Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in DeKalb, IL

\n \n

$1796.70 or more per week - And it gets better

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
\n \n
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.68 per Mile with an weekly average of 1560 Miles
\n \n
• Solo Stops Pay: $17.94 per Stop with an weekly average of 21 Stops
\n \n
• Per Diem Pay: $51.25 per night with 4 - 5 nights per Week
\n \n
• Touch Freight Pay: $0.17 per piece with an average 1750 pieces per Week
\n \n
• Sign On Bonus: Pays you $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days
\n \n
• Tenure Bonus: Pays You $1000 on 1 Year Anniversary
\n \n
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
\n \n\n

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

• Tractor Type: 2019 Freightliner Sleeper

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
\n \n
• Pass a DOT physical
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder road test
\n \n
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
\n \n
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
\n \n
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
\n \n
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
\n \n
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
\n \n
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
\n \n
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
\n \n\n

Responsibilities

\n \n\n

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
\n \n
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
\n \n
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
\n \n
• Performs other duties as assigned
\n \n\n
