Office Services Specialist- On Call

This position is an "On-Call" position to support Shipping and Receiving team members when they are out of the office. The position ensures the efficient and accurate handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments. They participate in all mailroom operations, including sorting and delivering packages to appropriate recipients and ensuring all outgoing mail packages are labeled and picked up in a timely manner.

Incoming Mail/Packages:

• Pay: $18-$24.
• Pickup mail from the post Office.
• Date stamp, sort and distribute US Mail and special mails (Fed Ex, UPS, Parcel Post, etc.)
• Maintains files, logs and records on all incoming mail.
• Screen all incoming Mail and Packages.
• Deliver special and rush packages.
• Delivers mail to each department, person, or pre-established drop area as required by the client.

Outgoing Mail/Packages:

• Complete all mailings in a timely manner.
• Sort and stamp outgoing mail.
• Process outgoing accountable packages.
• Operate postage machine according to policy and regulations.
• Prepares for mailing Certified, Registered, Insured articles, special mails.
• Maintains files, logs, and records.
• Daily picks up outgoing mail and interoffice mail from each lobby or pre-established drop area as required by the client.

Other Duties:

• Maintain a clean shipping area and Van.
• Communicate with supervisor or client on job or deadline issues.
• Utilize software mail applications where applicable.
• Answer telephone in Mailroom.
• Adhere to C&W Services policies in addition to client site policies.
• Use equipment and supplies in a cost-efficient manner.
• Assist Facilities team with needs around the building, including conference room resets, moving furniture, and stocking of supplies.
• Other duties as directed by management.
• Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
