We have a challenging career opportunity for a DevOps/SRE Engineer. You will have the ability to automate tasks that cause friction for both our customers and developers. You also love everything about the web and understand the pace of technology and embrace it. You'll work on cloud-based solutions and help product teams meet their goals by creating processes and writing code to automate those processes. You know how to work closely with the business to build cutting-edge solutions following the lean/Agile development process.

What you will do:

1. Create, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure
2. Implement monitoring for applications and infrastructure
3. Automate developer processes
4. Ensure organization compliance requirements are met
5. Ensure security of platform
6. Plan, deploy, and maintain critical business applications in production and non-production cloud environments
7. Engineer suitable release management procedures and provide production support
8. Drive improvements to processes and design enhancements to automation to continuously improve production environments
9. Build tools to reduce errors and improve the development experience
10. Perform root cause analysis for incidents and outages
11. Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
12. Maintain and contribute to our knowledge base and documentation

What we need from you:

1. BA/BS in a related technical field or equivalent education and work experience
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience working with application development organizations, with hands-on experience with AWS services
3. Experience with SCM tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub
4. Experience with container management using Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes
5. Experience setting up, administering, and maintaining log aggregation with tools such as OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
6. Experience managing CI/CD pipelines for Java, NodeJS, and Dotnet applications with Jenkins or GitLab
7. Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
8. Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or Powershell
9. Experience working on large-scale cloud-based web applications

The base salary for this role is $135,000 - $145,000 per year, with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus, subject to company approval.
